Being a teenager is not easy, and a teenage girl especially. Still, in just a few weeks or months, the smooth skin of the face can suddenly become covered with acne, the hair begins to get dirty quickly, and unwanted hair appears on the body. Changes in appearance are not at all encouraging and can seriously affect self-esteem.
You change and that’s ok
Puberty in girls begins at the age of 9–12. It is at this age that growth accelerates, the figure changes noticeably – the chest grows, and the hips become rounded, hair appears on the body, menstruation begins.

Perhaps the most common teenage problem is acne. Acne can appear not only on the face but also on the shoulders, chest, back. Adults also experience acne, but roughly 80% of those who suffer from acne are teenagers.
In a 2017 survey, it was found that 67% of adolescents believed that the appearance of acne negatively affects self-esteem. More than half of the respondents (58%) refused to be photographed because of acne, and almost two-thirds (68%) were convinced that before posting photos on social networks, all peers edit them to mask acne.
During growing up, any teenager, especially a girl, cannot do without the help of parents or other older relatives – they need both moral support and advice on choosing the right care.
The task of both moms and dads during this period is to tell why the changes are taking place, with what they are associated. “The body changes, you grow up – that’s okay,” is something every teenage girl needs to firmly grasp.

It will be easier to decide on a conversation if mom remembers that she herself had the same experience. It often seemed inconceivable to turn to parents with all these problems, all that was left was to discuss what was happening in the circle of friends, and to think out something on their own. That is why being silent and pretending that nothing is happening is not an option.
Proper care will make the girl self-confident.
Correction of nutrition and proper care will help to cope with rashes and improve skin conditions. It is necessary not only to choose special products designed for teenage skin but also to teach them how to use them correctly. In the event that the situation does not improve, a beautician will help.
